She couldn’t remember when she'd last had a full night’s sleep. Despite installing a sleep tracker on her phone, investing in health supplements and even tweaking her food and exercise schedules, she’d had no success. She’d lie awake in bed for hours on end, staring into the dark ceiling. Not surprisingly, her sleepless nights made her fatigued and insipid through the day, affecting her mood, productivity and even her relationships. That was until someone left a bottle of mogra oil by her desk. It sat there for many days until, one evening, when she was out of options, she grabbed it and dabbed some on her forehead. And, before she knew it, she was ensconced in its signature combination of nostalgia and mystique. Her mind travelled back to her childhood in the small hamlet she grew up in, and to the soothing embrace of her mother and grandmother. She felt them and their love raining down on her, and their lullabies rocking her asleep.
Feel the warmth of togetherness when you’re wearing this exquisite saree made of mul modal.
Modal products are nature-based, made from fibres derived from wood pulp. Its production is sustainable as the wood pulp is responsibly sourced. Modal fabric has a very low environmental footprint - its production uses significantly lesser natural resources than other fibres.
At Suta, we add another layer of innovation to modal by creating our own mul modal fabric. This fabric combines modal yarn and our signature made-in-heaven mul yarn to bring to you the best of both fabric types.

Now that she was older and wiser, she found it hard to believe that there was a time when she would jump to conclusions too quickly. She remembered how, not so long ago, she’d let her opinions be swayed by the stereotypes perpetuated by the people around her. She’d never let her guard down and even the slightest provocation would set her off. However, her bristly attitude only widened the chasm between her and the others, increasing her sense of self-doubt and her general mistrust in the world. If there was one thing she’d want to tell her teenage self, it would be to not be swayed by external factors but to dig deeper to learn what lies within. She’d tell herself that beautiful hearts can come in all kinds of packages.
Remember that a beautiful heart always wins when you wear this beautiful handwoven green cotton saree, embellished with red heart butis.

The entire process involves various steps such as drawing the basic pattern, redrawing using wax and then applying the dye. Then, the wax is removed after the fabric dries. This is done multiple times to create various patterns with different colours. The process of dyeing is something that has been passed down by generations of artisans and the stunning designs created by these master craftsmen are timeless.

Her delicate shoulders bear much more than you can imagine. She is so much more than what meets the eye, as are you, me and everyone else in this maddeningly complex world. This maroon made in heaven mul with zari detailing is simply dreamy!
The handloom cotton is a type of fabric that is woven using hand operated looms. Two sets of interlacing yarns, the warp (length) and weft (width), are woven on a mechanised loom operated by weavers. These looms do not use electricity. Human handling lends the fabrics a unique feel and renders the fabrics more value. The resultant fabric is softer, more durable and much more comfortable than machine-made fabrics. Handloom cotton is more breathable and thus feels lighter in summers and provides more insulation in winters. The dyeing process also becomes easier for handloom cotton as the colour penetration is substantially more. Hues are absorbed better thus look resplendent on handloom cotton.
The art of hand weaving is labour intensive and takes a longer time. But, the beauty it adds to the fabric is priceless. Choosing handloom cotton supports the rich weaving heritage of India and lets the weavers carry on the precious art-form to the future generations as well.
The zari threads add the golden shimmer to the fabric in a very subtle yet beautiful way.

All the peaks of the reds of the skies, the brilliance of blues and the abyss of the deep black darkness dissolve into my ivory translucence. I give, I take, I go all out, I hold back, and every time there is an imbalance, I instinctively level the field. Why? Because I see that fairness is the bedrock of all that our lives, of all our skies co-existing. And, for fairness I will always root, for the rainbow in our collective skies to take root. This is a handloom silk saree in ivory cream colour. Its soft, silky, beautiful texture and the stunning colour steal the show!
