Story

In her mind, nothing could beat the beauty of winter skies. She could never stop marvelling at the bright blue skies, the golden sunlight and the fluffy white clouds that lazily sauntered over the horizon every morning. She would wrap herself snug in a quilt and lay down on the charpoy on their terrace, watching the clouds for hours on an end. Sometimes, they told tales of dragons and monsters. On other days, they took on the façade of ancient warriors and beautiful princesses. No one could contain them. No one could stop them. For they were gentle, but they were free.

Description

One of the most widely used synthetic fabrics, polyester is a petroleum by-product. It is popular because of its strength, durability, light weight and suppleness. Clothes made from polyester, tend to be resistant to wrinkles, and are easier to dry and maintain. Although it isn’t biodegradable, it can be recycled to form a variety of products.

The mul cotton is what we call ‘made in heaven’ at Suta. Known in West Bengal as mul mul, the fabric is buttery soft and delicately beautiful. The weave of this fabric is very fine, and this lends a very fluid texture to it that makes draping it a breeze. It is truly like a hug that wraps you in its love!
